NDE Near-Death Experience

NDE Near-Death Experience

The Near-Death Experience Research Foundation, NDERF, defines a NDE as "A lucid experience associated with perceived consciousness apart from the body occurring at the time of actual or threatened imminent death."

I recently listened to Commune's course with Anita Moorjani's Live Fearlessly. Anita was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2002. Within a 4 year time span the cancer had spread significantly. The doctors would eventually diagnose her with one of the highest grades of cancer, grade 4B lymphoma. In 2006 her husband brought her to the hospital after becoming very ill. It was during this time when she had a NDE, Near-Death Experience. Her body started shutting down and was in a coma. She describes her experience as being very aware. Not only aware of everything going on in her hospital room, but also aware of all the conversations going on outside of her room and even outside of the hospital. Very much aware of the fact that she was dying. She explained after leaving her body behind her essence entered a new realm. It was in this realm where she learned how she got cancer. Anita was shown that illness starts on an energetic level before becoming physical. Anita says she was a people pleaser. To the point where she did more for others than she did for herself, until she was drained & ridden with cancer.

"I then understood that when people have medical treatments for illnesses, it rids the illness only from their body but not from their energy so the illness returns. I realized if I went back, it would be with a very healthy energy. Then the physical body would catch up to the energetic conditions very quickly and permanently. I was given the understanding that this applies to anything, not only illnesses - physical conditions, psychological conditions, etc. I was 'shown' that everything going on in our lives was dependent on this energy around us, created by us. Nothing was solid - we created our surroundings, our conditions, etc. depending where this 'energy' was at."

After this experience Anita began to recover quickly. Now, cancer free, she shares her experience and lessons she has learned to remind us we are loved.

Lessons I learned from Anita:

Explore who you are without the people around you. Don't be a people pleaser! Be who you are & whatever is truly yours will come to you. "Be who you are. You set an intention even before you came into this world, even before you were born, this is what you are going to do. This is what you are going to accomplish."

Love yourself like your life depends on it! Loving yourself is the same as loving God, Source, the Universe, whatever you believe in. Each of us are facets of it. We are an extension of God's expression.

Your inside world creates your outside world. Live from the inside outward. We create our own experiences. When we live from the outside inward we are simply being reactive.

Take time for an Information Detox! For 24-48hrs remove the news and any external stimulation. Become comfortable in the silence. Stop looking for information on the outside. Look on the inside.

How to look inward. Set the question within your mind. Ask yourself or your Guides "How do I deal with ___?" Then, let it go. Put on some music, go on a walk, sit on the beach. Answers from our guidance system will come. (Now this is the part that has always made me second guess my intuition. I hope it helps you too!) Scary answers that make us feel constricted, small or fearful is our imagination. True answers that come from the Universe, our Higher Self, God, Guides, or Angels make us feel good, free and expansive!

Fight fear with love! "After what I have seen, I realize that absolutely anything is possible, and that we did not come here to suffer. Life is supposed to be great, and we are very, very loved."
